Overview of Contest
This contest encourages students to keep our planet green and to get involved with saving the environment. Students in grades 4 through 8 are eligible to create a sculpture of recyclable, reused, and reduced materials. The sculpture is limited in width to 81/2 inches by 11 inches. Height should be proportional to width.
Each year a theme is identified by MGC, Inc.
Award Opportunities
The contest awards are:
Club Up to the club -monetary awards are encouraged
MGC State 1st Place $50.00 Gift Card (by grade)
MGC State 2nd place $25.00 Gift Card (by grade)
MGC State 3rd place MGC certificate
Application with entry Deadline: January 15th
Please send your complete NGC Youth Sculpture Contest Form along with the required photos to: Carol McGregor, MGC 2nd Vice President. Her email address is: cmcgregor@migardenclubs.org. She will then forward the state winners to the NGC Youth Sculpture Contest Chair.
